Kanye West had a nervous breakdown - he was pushed over the edge by anniversary of mom's funeral

...at least that's what TMZ is claiming. Read their report below...

Kanye West just snapped a week ago Monday in what we're told was a "nervous breakdown" ... triggered in large part by the anniversary of his mother's death.

Sources very close to Kanye tell TMZ ... he was increasingly becoming a powder keg of emotions in the weeks leading up to his hospitalization at the UCLA Medical Center ...

Fueled by what we're told was a shocking lack of sleep and the pressures of touring, running his businesses, parenting and providing emotional support to his wife who was suffering her own emotional trauma after the Paris robbery.

But our sources say the trigger for the breakdown was Donda's death back in November 2007. Her funeral was November 20 -- the same day he cancelled his show at the L.A. Forum. The following day -- November 21 -- Kanye cancelled the remainder of the tour and hours later suffered the breakdown

People close to Kanye tell us he never effectively grieved over his mom's death and has always had a difficult time in November, but this time he reached the breaking point.
Kanye, we're told, has had trouble handling stress over the last few months, and in the week or so before the breakdown he started to unravel.

As we reported ... Kanye became paranoid when he was taken to UCLA ... refusing for a time to even let doctors touch him. He also ranted that people were trying to ruin his marriage.

Kanye was sedated and is being treated by doctors and mental health professionals. Doctors hoped to release him 2 days ago, but that didn't happen and so far ... no new release date.

Tuesday's Motivational Push

Those who succeed in achieving their dreams always have one common characteristic. They never give up. This isn’t an attitude that they develop toward the end, it’s a mindset that they establish from the beginning and nurture throughout the process.

If you are thinking about giving up on a goal until the conditions in your life are just right, chances are you’ll be waiting a long time. There is no perfect time to do something. It’s one of the secrets of success to know this. Looking for the perfect time is just an excuse to procrastinate.

Obstacles are the tests that will make you feel worthy and proud once you reach your goal. The true value and reward in accomplishing a goal is in the challenges you overcome during the journey.

Have you ever known someone who inherited a great deal of wealth? And have you ever known someone who created a great deal of wealth on their own? I have. These two diverse paths to wealth often produce two completely different people. In my experience, the person who inherited wealth was arrogant, had poor money management skills, and had no empathy for people who were less fortunate. In contrast, the person who created his own wealth was humble, had excellent money management skills, and often contributed his time and money to help others.

The point here is that setbacks and difficulties are your opportunities to become a person who is truly worthy of the success that you seek.

Character building is a key component to the “never give up” mindset. So keep pushing until you cross the finish line.

Monday's Motivational Push

Get-rich-quick schemes are just that – schemes. Much as we might wish otherwise, none of us are never going to go from average Joe to the Forbes list of richest people in the world overnight.

So how do the rich get rich? Some are born that way and some get lucky. Others have advantages most of us will never have. But if you ask the world’s self-made billionaires how they achieved success, most will tell you it’s not that they’re necessarily smarter than everyone else and they didn’t rely on a some super-secret formula the rest of us don’t know about. Instead, they often credit their success to taking risks.

When speaking to people in their forties and beyond, many say that if they could do their career over again, they will have taken more risks, settled less and spoken up more often. In short, they wished they would ve been more courageous in the risks they’d taken.  Perhaps you relate.

Often we know what it is we want to do, but we still don’t do it. Why? Because we are innately risk averse and afraid of putting our vulnerability on the line. The status quo, while not particularly fulfilling, can seem like an easier, softer, less scary, option.  In other words, we find it much easier to settle with the status quo, keep our mouths closed and our heads down rather than make a change, take a chance,  or speak up and engage in what I call a “courageous conversation.”

With the rise in popularity of MMM and other multi-level marketing networks, many have decided to push fear aside and take the risk to invest. Network marketing, otherwise known as multi-level marketing, is often stigmatized as get-rich-quick or pyramid schemes. While the myth that all network marketing companies are scams is steadily being dispelled, some still question whether these businesses are actually worth getting involved in — can ordinary people be successful at them? My answer is yes.

There are quite some reliable multi-marketing networks you can try out like:

Zarfund where you trade on bitcoins  https://www.zarfund.com/ref/5dcbb65b9c
Crowd Rising http://www.crowdrising.net/ref/Teddieb
icharity.  http://icharity.club/?ref=teddie1
MMM Nigeria
Givers Forum
Helping Hands International etc

Will there be risks involved? Of course!  But remember that you are wired to both overestimate the size of them and to underestimate your ability to handle them.  The truth is, as Lao Tsu wrote two thousand years ago, “You are capable of more than you think.”

Fear regret more than failure – history has shown that we fail far more from timidity than we do from over daring.  Or to quote a little Latin: Fortes fortuna Nigeria
.

“Fortune favors the bold.”

2. Never underestimate the power of small beginnings

Don Jazzy was once a security guard, worked inMacDonald’s and also spent long hours waiting in line to get a job at a construction site in the UK before finding his feet in the music business.

3. Relationship is key

D’banj and Don Jazzy

The worst day in business for Don Jazzy was the decision to end the decade long relationship with former business partner D’banj.

LessonIt is important to build strong relationships if we want to go far in business.

4. Understand your home-grown advantage

Don Jazzy, Jay Z and Kanye West in New York

5. Always expect the unexpected

Don Jazzy never expected his beautiful relationship with D’banj to ever end, but it did and it changed the course of life.

When everything failed, Don Jazzy had to introduce a new product to the market, and the Mavins were born.

LessonHaving the right product for your target audience is key!

So why is there so much hype and buzz around Zarfund? The answer is simple. This new virus in town could make you rich beyond your wildest dream and its 100% scam free and transparent.

So what exactly is Zarfund? Zarfund is a team-work based, person – to – person funding platform. The company started mid-August but is gaining substantial unmatched grounds the Investment world has ever seen.
How does it work? Zarfund is all about team work. And the start-up capital is $18 which is payable in bitcoin. All new investors voluntarily pays their upline (the person who referred them) $18, then the  investor will invite two person who will pay him $18 each  making x2 of his investment in one day (at that point you move to level 2). Then your two referrals will have to refer two people each and the matrix keeps forming.
Zarfund is a 2x6 forced matrix that is impossible to do alone, hence TEAMWORK is encouraged. That’s what set Zarfund apart from all other investment. With teamwork you can use $18 to earn $78,044 which is the highest level.
Now in Zarfund you only need two referrals (It’s called the power of two). Two referrals is the Maximum, you can’t have more than it.
Estimated profit calculation of Zarfund System

Actor, Richard Mofe Damijo writes an open letter to 'the boy child'

The veteran actor took to Instagram to write an open letter to the boy child.

In the letter, he addressed the effects of social media on the male gender, how to address a lady and the importance of respect and fear of God.  Read the beautiful piece below...

Dear Son, I'm writing to you today because there is no day "internationally" set aside for the "boy child", so, tired of looking on in horror as you constantly shock and embarrass me, this is from daddy to you.

I'm shocked at how many of you carry yourselves here on social media. I am shocked at the things you L O L at. I am worried at the way you speak
to and about women. I am frightened at the kinds of things that inspire and motivate you.

I am concerned that the women who get your attention are not the virtuous, brilliant types but the frivolous party, skimpily clad ones.

I am disappointed to see that the pictures you fall over yourselves double tapping are not the inspirational quotes or of clean, beautiful modest women but of women with their breasts, thighs and bottoms spilling over.

I cringe at how many of you blatantly use swear and curse words at women like it makes you cool.

I am distraught to see that many of you insinuate that a man who loves and stays with one woman is a wimp, that a man who publicly displays and speaks about his love for his woman is a "jew man", that a man who is more interested in deeply spiritual and intellectual pursuits should be shamed...

I am worried son, deeply worried.
My dear son, being uncouth, indecent, unintelligent is NOT cool and contrary to what you think, the man who stays on social media looking for naked ladies to validate, smart people to shame, brilliant people to tear down, celebrities to attack are NOT men but little boys battling low self esteem issues.

A real man loves God and is not ashamed to show it. He loves and respects women. He does not ask for nudes and if any misguided woman sends him her nudes respectfully deletes it and not use it as a blackmailing tool. A real man reads, yes, he reads a lot. He picks his mentors wisely, thinks before he speaks and reads his comments over and over before he hits send.

Dear son, do not let the "anonymity" of social media make you a fool rather use it to shine and be kind, reasonable and sensible at all times because that is the man I desire to see you be.
Love,
Daddy

Sunday's Motivational Push

Many winners have reached success by climbing a special ladder called “never give up.” However, there are also many who have lost the opportunity to achieve success because they gave up too soon. This can happen in every area of life: family, education, friends, work, service. Perseverance is a key to victory.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
The apostle Paul persevered despite persecution and affliction (2 Tim. 3:10–11). He viewed life with realism, recognizing that as followers of Christ we will suffer persecution (vv. 12–13), but he instructed Timothy to place his faith in God and the encouragement of the Scriptures (vv. 14–15). Doing so would help him face discouragement and endure with hope. At the end of his life, Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (4:7).

We too can allow the Scriptures to strengthen us to press on in the race marked out for us. For our God is both a promise-making and promise-keeping God and will reward those who faithfully finish the race.

Faith connects our weakness to God’s strength.

Happy Birthday Daniel Wilson

Growing up back then in AJ, Lagos I couldn't stop loving the tunes from this maestro called Daniel Wilson.
From Mr Ragamuffin to Abortion to Bad Boy etc I was truly inspired by him, in fact the song My Empress was inspired by him.

I won't forget the day I was with Konboye Sinclair (Pupa K) at his studio in Woji, PH when Daniel Wilson came visiting. Puka K played the very first version of the song My Empress for him and boy was he impressed. Got good words of encouragement from him and a thumbs up for a good job.

That encouragement was a zest and boost to me, considering the fact that it came from the Mr Ragamuffin himself. Today he's a year older so I take out time to wish this genius and Nigeria music legend Daniel Wilson a Happy Birthday.
Many happy returns Sir.

Friday's Motivational Push

Of cos on your way up, many will ignore, laugh and even fight you.
That doesn't make you a failure. Inspite of the negative vibes around, try to stay positive and focused with your eyes on the prize.

You might be pained from the neglect from even those close to you, but that pain is weakness giving way for inner strength to come forth. Give your self esteem a boost daily and don't relent in your push to succeed cos if you don't quit from the race, most definitely you will cross the finish line, victorious.
