According to multiple British sites, actor Idris Elba, 44, is now dating US singer Madonna. On Friday night, after making his kickboxing debut in London, he showed up at London hotspot M Restaurant with Madonna, 58, and they were reportedly spotted making out. According to UK’s Sun newspaper, 

“There was nothing subtle about it, no attempt to hide. It was very blatant. They were at the party for about an hour, they would dance, go off to smooch, then mingle a bit more.”

Tupac's handwritten letter sent from prison sells for over $170,000

A handwritten letter by late rapper, Tupac Shakur, which he wrote while he was in prison at New York’s Clinton Correctional Facility in 1995 has been sold recently for $172,725. The four-page letter was addressed to former Death Row Records employee Nina Bhadreshwar to be published for the youth to read.. 
The title of the letter was: “Is Thug Life Dead?” 

Then part of the body of the letter read: 

“I did not begin thug life, I just personified it,” the letter reads. “I couldn’t stop it if I tried but in my heart the thug n—- has advanced 2 be a Boss Playa. 

So No Thug Life is Not Dead but in my heart it is. If U are sharp u will learn from this.” 

“I want all my homeiez 2 realize there is another level it takes heart and courage 2 stand alone face the demons and make a change! We are powerful people but not unless we have power and if we all die we have nothing. No power, no money, no life, nothing.”

I am supposed to now feel very sorry and begin to call him daily Abi? Very often you come across these emotional blackmail and it doesn't hit you like its blackmail. 

"I thought we were friends, you didn't invite me for your party". "You don't love me anymore". "If you love me you will buy me...". "You forgot my birthday, after you will say you are my friend". "You claim to be my friend and you did not Support me". "I always knew you were biased, if not you will... ". "You are the only friend I can ask for this loan".

"If everyone believed, you are the last person I expected to join them". "If I mean anything to you, you will come and visit me". "So your sister, brother, boss, work, friend... is more important than me?" "So you think I am not GOOD enough for you?"... the thing with emotional blackmail is that it hinges the relationship on a single issue. Issues that usually cannot weigh on the same scale as everything thing else you have between you. You rent a house for a babe and furnish it. Then one day, because of busy schedules or some other things, you couldn't call to wish her happy birthday, she flings the blackmail, "So I am not important again Abi?" Some people set themselves up. What if the guy was working to make you more important?

Anyway, people who use this blackmail technique, have probably done it over a long period of time and have come to see that it's a very effective tool. So they bank on its efficacy in all relationships. Little do they know that they are just exhibiting emotional immaturity. What is not coming to pay you a visit, got to do with the love she has shown you for over a year? Because she didn't return your call, she doesn't love you anymore. So returning a call has more weight in the equation of your relationship when stacked against sleeping with you? C'mon naaaa!!!

The way I see these things may be different. But trust me, when I smell emotional blackmail, something inside me switches off.

Lagos state govt to employ 1000 graduates as bus conductors, puts them on N50k salary

Lagos state Ministry of Transportation in conjunction with the Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria, BCAN, plans to employ 1000 graduates as bus conductors in the state. President of BCAN, Comrade Israel Ade Adeshola said their association and the state government is working towards making the Bus Conducting profession one for only trained bus conductors and also make it more lucrative and attractive. 
In an interview with Vanguard, Adeshola said 

"Presently Lagos state government through the Lagos State Drivers Institute, LASDRI is training and accrediting conductors in the state, adding that after the training the graduands would be employed as Bus Conductors and would be on the payroll of the government with a salary worth of N50,000 per month. The objective is to make the job of bus conducting attractive, respected and dignified as obtainable globally”.

The state capital Yenagoa and it's alias "YENTOWN"

That's a very long story, but I will try to make it short. I actually haven't shared this story with anyone before now. After I met B-Raiz (co-founder of KashKamp) of the present KKTBM fame years ago in Yentown Bayelsa state, we became pretty close as he was a really cool dude and rapper who introduced me to J. Cole at the time. I was also deep into the rap game and he loved my works at the time, we collaborated on a song and he took me to Warri, Delta state where he introduced me to other members of KashKamp - Tizz Blaq, Obus, Sailors Bell, etc... Yung6ix already moved to Lagos then so he told him about me on phone.

He also hooked me up with the Magic City Gang, the likes of Franky Free, DJ Toxic A, and some other cats... B-Raiz wanted me to rep KashKamp and was making moves. However, when I got back to my city, I thought deeply about me reppin KashKamp, I came to a resolution that everybody on the KaskKamp train had something in common, they were either from Delta state, or grew up somewhere in Delta state (mostly Warri), another strong factor was that some of them grew up together and their friendship circle was strong.  I felt like a stranger and KashKamp was strongly holding it down for Warri.

At that point I hooked up with my brother from another mother, now known as Ecclesiastes formally called Pakiss10. I told him about my experience and how I wanted us to create a rap gang that would hold it down for Yentown & Bayelsa state in general anytime, any day. He loved the idea and after a week, we came up with the music gang Musik Monsterz Inc and made Pakiss10 the head because of his level of experience.

Quickly we integrated our brothers who were extremely talented too into the gang, am talking about Bayelsa state music production living legend then known as TDG or T-Dog G, but now known as Chiff Tims TDG, and our then manager Ken Walez (now Ken Whalez Ade). Together the four of us played a huge role in shaping Bayelsa state musical scene. I vividly remember how we sat down one of those nights and discussed on how to rebrand Yenagoa. Bayelsa state was fundly reffered to as "B.Y" at the time and I hated that. It reminded me of the BYC t-shirts LOL.

After many options we came up with the term "YEN TOWN" basically because the first three letters in spelling Yenagoa is Y.E.N. Our decision was influenced by the nicknames given to other cities, Warri is nicknamed Waff Town, Benin city is B-Side, Calabar is Cali, Jos is J-Town, etc. To sell the nickname YenTown to our people, our business minded homie Chiff Tims actually brought up the idea of a clothe line popularly known as YenTown clothings. With that we started selling YenTown on t-shirts and promoting the term on our songs. That's the real story about Musik Monsterz Inc and the term or nickname YenTown.

Right now, I am the head and only person holding it down for MMINC. As Pakiss10 is now born again and he is into Gospel music with his own imprint Heavenly Music. As for Chiff Tims we all know his story LOL, he ventured into politics and he quitted music. But he's back anyway, rebranded and now owns his own imprint Tims Urban Music. And as for Ken Whalez, he relocated to Lagos state and holds it down for House of Lamac.
But we all are still pretty cool anyway, no beef, we just grew bigger and that's what we always strived for.

Man confesses to killing his girlfriend because she said no to his marriage proposal

 

43 year old Jason Eaton walked into an Indiana Police station on Tuesday October 25 & told officers that he had killed his girlfriend, Wendy Sabatini. And when police went to Wendy's home, they found her dead in her bedroom. She'd been shot in the head. Asked why he killed his girlfriend, Jason told police that he'd proposed to Wendy in the bedroom with an engagement ring and she said no.

Jason told police, in anger, he retrieved her gun from a nightstand and shot her in the head from behind. He then went to a mutual friend's house to confess to what he had done. The friend then accompanied to the police station to confess and surrender.

Timaya joins Glo as brand ambassador

One of Nigeria’s most popular musicians, Timaya, has joined the exclusive list of brand ambassadors of the next generation network, Globacom. Globacom said in a statement that the singer, songwriter and producer, whose full name is Inetimi Alfred Odon, was signed on as the latest Glo brand ambassador last week.

Millionaire activist James Otis arrested for destroying Donald Trump's $30k Hollywood Walk of Fame star

The millionaire activist who admitted to smashing up Donald Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame star has been arrested, but also now bailed. James Otis, 52, destroyed Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame which was awarded to him in 2007, with a pick-ax after dressing up as a construction worker to fool anyone walking past. 

 Otis spoke to the media about his arrest outside of the LAPD Metropolitan Detention Center when he was released from jail on $20,000 bail. According to him, he did it to show support for women who have accused Trump of groping them. 

'He's a serial liar and misogynist and that's why we're here: to try to address that and help those women who told Mr. Trump they won't stand for it anymore,' Otis said.

The authorities have stated that Otis was arrested for felony vandalism and is due in court on November 18. The charge could earn him three years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted.

2 men rescue suspected wizard who fell on Sapele River, claim it's family affair

Two men have reportedly picked up the man who accidentally crashed into the Ajogodo River, in Sapele, Delta State yesterday, after his supposedly ‘private jet-coven’ ran out of fuel; claiming they are family members of the self-confessed wizard. 

According to Vanguard, the two men came yesterday and pleaded with restless residents, who wanted to set him ablaze, saying; “we are from Idjerhe (Jesse) in Ethiope West LGA of Delta State. He is our brother. 

He is a driver by profession and plies daily his taxi along the Benin/Sapele dual carriage way. He lives in Benin mostly. We heard about the incident through the news making the round. We came here to confirm it and it is true. Please we want you people to release him for us to take him home, because he now appears very weak.” 

The family members, believed to be in their 60s, refused to disclose their names and also state the man’s marital status. They maintained 

“this is our private family affair. We are not going to tell you people any more information about our brother.” They reportedly zoomed off with him in an ash-coloured Toyota Camry car without number plates, at about 10a.m.

The self-confessed wizard was heard saying “I was not alone on the journey. There were others with their private jets, but luck ran against me when my fuel finished. The others are in UK now.”

"There is no way I could support a man who jailed my father" Femi Kuti denies supporting APC & Buhari during last election

In a series tweets, Femi Kuti has made it clear that he didn't support the APC or any other political party in the 2015 general elections. This was in reply to a follower who accused him of keeping silent in the face of the recession and accused him of supporting the government.

 

In one of his tweets, he explained that the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo came to visit him during the campaign seeking for his support but he refused, saying he could never support a man who jailed his father.

Alex Iwobi impresses me - Says Sir Alex Ferguson

Legendary football coach Sir Alex Ferguson has given his endorsement of the talent of young Super Eagles attacker Alex Iwobi while also posturing Arsenal, Iwobi's club, as premier league title challengers this season. 

Arsenal sit pretty good at the upper echelon of the EPL table and Iwobi has been instrumental providing 3 assists so far, and Sir Alex Ferguson, who won a record 13 Premier League titles as United manager, believes Iwobi has helped to make Arsenal more competitive.

Alex Iwobi can be new Arsenal playmaker- coach Arsene Wenger says

 

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Nigerian starlet Alex Iwobi can prosper as a playmaker following his display in Arsenal's 2-0 English League cup win over Reading FC on Tuesday. Arsenal boss Wenger said to journalists during a press conference : 

“Yes, he can play in a central role. You see that he is not a typical winger. I think he can play in that role. He turns the game forward, he passes the ball through the lines very well, he has a final ball in him.” 

Wenger also said he wants Iwobi, nephew to African football legend Jay Jay Okocha to improve his goal scoring ratio and add goals to his game. 

He continued:

According to Woman's Day, a family friend confirmed to the magazine that James Packer ended the relationship over her 'extragvagent spending' as well as a falling out over her new reality TV show, Mariah's World. The family friend also said Mariah Carey could keep the $10 million engagement ring he gave to her.

Tamara Eteimo wins African Culture Image Award in the USA

 Nollywood actress Tamara Eteimo is celebrating a big achievement in her career. She recently won the 2016 African Culture Image Award in the USA as the Best Supporting Actress. She clinched this award for her role in the movie ‘Fallen’ produced by Uduak Isong Oguamanam. 

 

 The actress who was excited about her win, thanked her fans for their votes and support. 

“This is my first official award apart from winning the New York Film Academy recognition as the best acting student and the Next Movie Star Reality Show, both in 2011.
